Explore Our Top Communication Devices

We’ve saved the best communication devices for last. Choosing gear can be controversial, but these three products are unquestionably top-of-the-line. The half-shell Cavalry, full-face Momentum Pro, and Momentum Lite don't dissapoint.

All three helmets have a built-in Bluetooth 4.1 communication system so you don’t have anything to install. With the Cavalry, you can listen to music on the side speakers or use optional ear cups for louder audio on the road. Use the microphone to chat on the four-way intercom or take calls. Sena’s Advanced Noise Control ™ technology, wind noise reduction, built-in SBC Codec, and wide volume control give you ten hours of talk time at ranges of up to half a mile. You can link your Cavalry helmet using the Sena Headset App for Android or iPhone and configure device settings, preset FM radio frequencies and speed-dial numbers, and access an interactive quick-start guide.

The helmets have Sena’s Headset Profile (HSP), Hands-Free Profile (HFP), Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP).

The Cavalry helmet is made of composite fiberglass and has a low-profile, removable visor and a nylon-strap, D-ring retention system. Both types of helmet are DOT- and ECE-certified.

Sena tells us that the Momentum helmet was engineered from the ground up to give riders the full benefit of their industry-leading technology. The sleek shell is composite fiberglass with multi-density EPS to add protection against impact. Like the Cavalry, the Momentum helmet uses Advanced Noise Control technology for calls, for music either through the phone or through FM radio, for GPS, and for intercom chat. The Momentum Lite supports four intercom connections at a working distance of one mile for at least 27 hours of chat time. The Momentum Pro doubles the number of intercom users possible to eight.

The Momentum Pro also includes a QHD action camera mounted on the center of the helmet so you can capture any moment just by touching a camera button at the top of your helmet. The camera has a 135-degree field of view and records looping video for two hours.

The Momentum helmets have forehead air intakes and a rear exhaust port to keep you cool. Their visors are scratch-and UV-resistant, pinlock ready with Max Vision 120, and have a quick-release system. The helmets have a quick-dry lining made of laser-cut foam that you can remove and wash. The chin curtain can also be removed and washed. Like the Cavalry helmet, the Momentum helmets have a reinforced, nylon-strap, D-ring retention system.

For the Momentum helmets, Sena offers a five-year warranty giving free-of-charge repair or replacement of defective parts or flaws due to problems in manufacturing for the helmet and a two-year warranty for the electronic parts. You’ll also get firmware upgrades that prevent your technology from becoming obsolete.

Available free through the iTunes and Google Play stores, the Sena RideConnected App uses your cellular network to connect to a virtually limitless number of rides over any distance. The Sena Smartphone App lets you easily change feature settings, set up groups of intercom friends, preset your favorite FM stations, or access the product Quick Guide. For the Momentum Pro, the Sena Camera App lets you preview video recordings and play back recorded videos.

Sena helmets give you just what you need and want in communication technology. Consult the experts at Eagle Leather either in the store or online for help in deciding which helmet will best suit your needs.
